This track was quite busy with a Duke of Edinburgh group of boys. Further down the track the girls from the same Sheffield school had their own group. Their teacher bounced past, running like Paula Radcliffe, stopping to question them when they questioned her. Miss, where are we. Miss, how much further. Amusing and likeable young people learning about the outdoors. “Now where do you think we are?” Paula said, forcing them to consider their own maps. Once they’d gone it was quiet again, and the track made a good photograph. I enjoyed it here, on Bradwell Edge, a place I’d never been.
