Tiny walkers in nature. I think this is part of the reason why we enjoy nature: our insignificance is paradoxically calming. We know how vast the universe is and how little really we know about it. The rest is hubris, which some part of us does recognise but we tend to ignore it. Money to earn, bills to pay, deadlines to meet, partner to find, television to watch, tasty alcohol to drink. It all ends in tears after six, seven, or eight decades.
