2012 in Britain was one of the wettest on record. Rain, rain, rain. Another day, another deluge. I read crop production was decreased by thirty percent and rather than absorb losses as most industries have to, this will transfer onto high street prices. It’s the same with oil, petrol, insurance, and banking: the most essential services are subject to the most inegalitarian and exploitative economics. Autumn 2012 was however remarkably colourful because of the rain. There was no need to visit Scotland or the Lake District to enjoy trees such as these.
