I’ve so far not done anything adventurous this winter in terms of hill walking. I have however got shots like this which I’ve enjoyed. Dwelling on such photographs increases the pleasure of the hills. You do it days, weeks or months later and they are like a window back to the past which you want to visit again. “If we had a keen vision and feeling of all ordinary human life, it would be like hearing the grass grow and the squirrel’s heart beat, and we should die of that roar which lies on the other side of silence” – George Eliot, Middlemarch.
