South of the best parts of Wales – Snowdon, Cnicht, the Carneddau, Moelwyns, Glyders, Arans – Cader Idris stands distinct. It’s a very fine mountain you can enjoy, which is often the case, from different directions and vantage points including views from below. The foreground here is one of the Cregennen Lakes. It’s good to capture all the moods of the hills and sombre days like this are a part of it.
