The valley here – Cwm Bychan – is a remarkable wild life place. I went for an evening wander which extended further than intended – often the case – and found myself in a dense, moss covered forest with what appeared to be notable wild flowers. I’m a novice, but didn’t recall seeing any flowers quite like those. Not many people walk the Rhinogs and fewer again explore the valleys. One feature here I like very much is the presence of the sea. Along the top you find views to the impressive beach at Harlech.
