The light was changing minute by minute as I walked. It’s probably the best vantage point at Chorlton Meadows and Chorlton Ees and this was around sunset. It began very dark and I nearly went home. I realised the sun might appear as it dropped below the clouds and before it reached the horizon. It often does. For five minutes the skies were dark and the grasses and trees were orange. You see that in other shots, then a rainbow appeared. The sunlight waned and there were a few more minutes like this. These moments are cinematic. As such, you find multiple shots where it’s difficult to select only one. I prefer the orange light shots but if I wanted a different mood here it is.
