I walked down to the Harlech beach watching carefully for wild flowers. I saw red campion, celandines, violets, stitchwort I think it was, and these dandelions. That’s the Llyn Peninsula in the distance. Sweeping to the right, beyond this frame, you look across to Snowdon, Cnicht, and the Moelwyns.
Dandelions are very uninteresting. You can however find them in places like this, for a good photograph. This sea area is wonderful as you drive along the coast from Harlech to Llanbedr or Barmouth. Beyond there you have the Mawddach Estuary and Cadair Idris. Below Cadair Idris you find the Cregennen Lakes. If you don’t live here, and you’re not used to the sea, the sudden big views are mesmerising.
