The path here back to the valley runs above Loch Tay. I’d had enough at this point. It was the end of the day, I was tired, and I’d been battered by fifty mile an hour winds. It’s fun for a while as you lean into it, shout at it, hear its roar. There’s no place for hubris in the mountains. It’s one reason why I like them.
