The plateau of Grasmoor lacks a distinct outlook or point of attainment. You don’t feel you reach the summit at any particular place. As such, it’s a fine area to wander around for thirty minutes gazing across to Keswick, the Solway Firth, Scotland, Loweswater, the Buttermere fells, the Scafells, and Great Gable. The more I recall this in imagination the more I think Grasmoor is quite a special place: a subtle place which must be explored and considered. The direction here is towards Loweswater.
