I don’t often take pictures of sheep. Animals are a cheap sympathy subject which is not what I want in the hills. Occasionally however they serve a photographic purpose like here. The point of the shot is not the sheep but the view and the gorgeous light down to Wastwater. The sheep add to the composition. It needed something more. The sheep were there to provide it.
