I want to be here again. The area captivated me in 2009 and it was a poignant experience to return in 2013. A few months later it’s poignant a second time seeing this at a photographic distance. I look out my window and see brick, tarmac, cars and suburban estate agent signs. I’ve just heard police sirens – the first of the day – with an average of about ten such occurences. I find the contemporary world a very sick place built on corruption and lies. There’s no arguing wth the sensory truth of these mountains. That’s one reason why I like them.
