I walked through the woods before appearing again in this open area. In November people come here for fireworks. Five minutes down this path and you reach a parking area adjoining the woods where you find bluebells in spring.

I feel slightly dizzy sometimes after I’ve been peering through my camera. I don’t know the reason for it but I have to calibrate again to the real scene, with a kind of reeling effect.

On this occasion it was more pronounced as I was dazzled by the orange leaves, like they were sunlight.

I wasn’t sure about this shot but reasoned the faint shadowy trees in the distance provided necessary interest. The layering is beautiful. Even without those fog covered suggested trees, I like the peace and soft elegance of this picture.
